Mouth blown by skilled glassblowers to create a contemporary textured jug. The wicker effect is achieved by blowing the glass gather into a wooden mould that is lined with a metal net. The rim of the glass is melted resulting in a smooth soft finish and the spout is shaped by hand using a metal tool while the glass is stilll malleable. The solid slab handle is formed separately and applied by hand.
