The Tangram storage cabinet takes its cue from the Chinese Tangram, a seven-piece dissection puzzle whose parts form one balanced shape. Designed by the duo at At-Once Studio, its front looks like a real Tangram board. Behind that playful facade sit practical, everyday storage spaces. It suits anyone who wants a statement piece for a living room, bedroom or kitchen that still works hard.

Central storage space for larger items you want out of sight.
Art Deco influence: the fragmented exterior nods to the structural rethinking of Art Deco design.

Styling tips
At 75 cm high, the cabinet sits at a comfortable sideboard height. Place it against the main living room wall and hang a large mirror or artwork above to anchor the geometric front. The cream finish pairs well with warm neutrals, sand tones, olive green and brushed brass. Keep the top simple: one lamp, a stack of books and a ceramic vase let the facade lead.
In a bedroom, use it in place of a chest of drawers. In an open-plan dining area, it doubles as a buffet for serving dishes. Allow space in front so the drawers open fully, as the cabinet is 60 cm deep.
