Styling tips
Pink pairs beautifully with soft whites, warm greys and natural oak. For a calm teen or girl's room, add white bedding, a textured throw in blush or cream and a light wooden bedside table. For a grown-up guest room, balance the colour with charcoal or sage cushions and brushed brass lighting.
Centre the headboard on the main wall, ideally opposite the door, so the tufting is the first thing you see. In a narrow room, keep a walkway of at least 60 cm along one side and choose a slim nightstand. A neutral rug under the lower two-thirds of the bed will soften the floor and frame the piece.
