The Smith Bed is a cream upholstered queen bed for anyone who wants a bedroom with real presence. Its marked curves and oversized stature reference the bold sophistication of 1970s Italian design. It suits couples furnishing a main bedroom, or anyone who likes a soft, sculptural look over sharp, boxy lines.
Key features
Sheltering headboard: sumptuous, curved lines wrap around the top of the bed for a cosy, enclosed feel.
Floating effect: a wood plinth base keeps the profile low and makes the bed appear to hover.
Buckle fabric upholstery: a textured cream finish in polyester upholstery.
Padded comfort: the frame is wrapped in high elastic memory foam.
Sturdy build: MDF base material with wood as the secondary material.
Queen size: takes a standard 160x200 cm mattress.

Styling tips
Let the curved headboard be the hero. Place the bed centred on the main wall and keep the wall behind it plain, in warm white, sand or soft taupe. Cream pairs well with natural textures: linen bedding, a jute or wool rug and oak or walnut bedside tables.
For a 1970s mood, add a globe pendant or mushroom table lamps and a touch of rust, olive or caramel in cushions. In compact Dubai or Sharjah apartment bedrooms, leave around 60 cm of walkway on each side so the oversized silhouette feels generous rather than crowded.
