Styling tips
Measure your room before you choose a layout. In a smaller lounge, keep the sections in a straight line against the longest wall. In an open-plan space, try an L-shape to frame a seating zone and divide it from the dining area.
Brown works well with cream, sand and soft white walls. Add texture with a wool or jute rug and a few cushions in rust, olive or mustard. Brass or black metal side tables keep the look modern. Leave about 45 cm between the sofa and a coffee table so people can move freely.
