Styling tips
Use the smoky tones as a quiet anchor in a living room with white or light grey walls. Add warmth with cognac leather, walnut wood or brass lamps, or keep it cool with navy, sage and silver accents. In a lounge, place the carpet so the front legs of your sofa and armchairs rest on it; this pulls the seating together. In a bedroom, run it under the lower two-thirds of the bed for a soft step out in the morning. For a majlis, layer it with patterned cushions to echo the Persian heritage.
