Styling tips
Layer a plain white dinner plate on top so the blue rim shows around the edge. Add gold or brushed brass cutlery for a warm, elegant look, or silver for a cooler, coastal feel. Linen napkins in sand, ivory or soft grey balance the strong blue nicely.
For larger gatherings, order one per guest so the table looks consistent from end to end. On a long majlis-style dining table, alternate the show plates with a low floral runner in white or green. Between meals, display one upright on a plate stand to add colour to a shelf or dresser.
