Styling tips
Place the kitchen against a wall in a playroom or bedroom, with a small rug in front to mark out a play zone. A low shelf or basket next to it keeps the pots, cutlery and utensils tidy after play. In Dubai and Sharjah apartments, a corner of the living room works well, so little ones can cook alongside you while you prepare dinner. Add a child-sized table and chairs nearby to turn pretend cooking into a pretend café or family meal.
