Styling tips
Once finished, place the cushion on a child's bed or in a reading corner to show off their work. It sits nicely against plain white or pastel bedding, where the patchwork colours stand out. In smaller Dubai and Sharjah apartments, a corner floor mat with a few cushions makes a simple, space-saving reading spot. Set up the sewing session at a table with good light, and keep small parts such as buttons in a tray so nothing goes missing.
Delivery
The Patchwork Cushion kit is available with delivery across the UAE. Add it to your basket and checkout will show the delivery options for your address.
The kit contains felt, a plastic needle, thread, stuffing and buttons. These are the materials needed to sew and fill a patchwork cushion.
How big is the finished patchwork cushion?
The product size is 25.2 x 25.2 x 7.2 cm. That makes it a small, cuddly cushion for a bed, chair or reading corner.
Is the needle in the kit suitable for children?
The kit comes with a plastic needle, which is a gentler choice than a metal needle for beginners. As the kit includes small parts such as buttons, adult supervision is sensible for younger children.
Do I need to buy anything extra to make the cushion?
The kit includes felt, needle, thread, stuffing and buttons, so the core materials are supplied. A pair of scissors may be handy for trimming thread.
