Styling tips
Set up a small ironing corner in a laundry room, spare bedroom or beside a wardrobe, ideally near a socket so the cord reaches without stretching. A wall-mounted ironing board or a slim foldable one keeps the area tidy in smaller apartments. Sort clothes by fabric before you start and work from the lowest heat setting upwards, beginning with silks and synthetics and finishing with cottons. Let the iron cool fully before storing it upright on a shelf or in a cupboard, away from children.
