Styling tips
Keep the spoon in a ceramic or stoneware utensil pot beside the hob, where the oak handle adds warmth to white, grey or marble worktops. It sits nicely with other wood-and-black tools for a calm, Scandinavian look. In a compact Dubai or Sharjah apartment kitchen, hang it from a rail to free up drawer space. Use it for sauces, rice and stews, then bring it straight to the table for serving.
Care tip: wash by hand, dry straight away and rub in a little food-safe oil from time to time, especially in dry, air-conditioned kitchens, to stop the oak drying out.
