Styling tips
A 1000-piece puzzle needs a flat surface you will not need for a few days. A spare dining table, a coffee table in the majlis or a desk in a quiet corner of the apartment all work well. Good daylight or a warm reading lamp makes the subtle stone and water tones easier to sort.
Start by gathering the edge pieces, then group the sky, rooftops and river by colour. If you have limited space, a puzzle board or mat lets you slide the project away between sessions.
Once finished, a framed puzzle makes a charming piece of wall art for a study, hallway or reading nook. Its soft heritage feel sits nicely with wood, linen and muted neutrals.
