Styling tips
Black velvet looks its best against soft, light backdrops. Try warm white or greige walls, crisp white bedding and a grey or blush throw at the foot of the bed. The chrome nail heads pick up silver tones, so mirrored bedside tables or a polished metal lamp tie the room together.
In a narrow room, place the headboard on the longest wall and leave walkway space on one side. In a guest room, add a bench or ottoman at the end for luggage.
