Styling tips
Check your mattress height before placing it. A bedside table sits best when its top is roughly level with, or slightly below, the top of the mattress. Use a pair either side of a double or king bed for a balanced, hotel-style look. Keep the top simple: a small table lamp, one plant or a tray for jewellery. In a small room, choose a slim lamp so the surface still has space for your phone and a book. Pair it with soft neutral bedding and a textured rug to warm up the room.
