Styling tips
Velvet pairs beautifully with a marble, glass or light oak dining table. The contrast of soft fabric and a hard surface feels balanced and current. For a calm look, choose chairs in tones that echo your walls or rug. For a bolder scheme, let the chairs be the accent against neutral walls.
Armless chairs are ideal for smaller dining nooks and open-plan kitchens. They slide fully under the table, keeping walkways clear. You can also use a single chair as an occasional seat in a bedroom, hallway or beside a dressing table. Add a pendant light above the table to show off the sheen of the velvet in the evening.
