Styling tips
The brown-grey leather pairs well with white or marble worktops, light oak cabinets and brushed brass or matt black fittings. For a warmer feel, add pendant lights with amber glass above the counter.
Allow around 60 cm of counter length per chair so guests can swivel without bumping elbows. Two chairs suit a small breakfast bar; three or four work along a longer kitchen island. Set the height so there is roughly 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the counter for comfortable legroom.
In open-plan homes, line the chairs up neatly facing the living area. This keeps the space tidy and makes the island feel like a natural spot to chat.
