Styling tips
Yellow velvet loves calm backdrops. Set it against white, warm grey or soft sage walls and let the sofa set be the star of the room.
Place the loveseat facing a window or TV wall, with the two chairs angled inwards to form a conversation group around a round coffee table.
Balance the bright colour with natural wood, rattan or brushed brass accents.
Add cushions in navy, charcoal or blush to tone down or soften the yellow.
In a bedroom, use one chair by the window as a reading spot and the loveseat at the foot of the bed.
A textured jute or cream rug grounds the set and keeps the look light.
