Styling tips
Black tufted fabric is a strong anchor piece, so keep the surroundings light. Pair it with warm white or sand-coloured walls and a jute or cream rug to stop the room feeling heavy.
Add two or three cushions in mustard, terracotta or soft grey to lift the black. Brass or gold accents, such as a floor lamp or side table, play up the classic look.
In a small apartment, place the sofa against the longest wall and leave around 45 cm in front for a slim coffee table. In a larger villa, use it as a secondary seat in a study, dressing area or beside a bedroom window.
Measure doorways, lifts and stairwells before ordering. At 80 cm in height and width, plan the delivery route through the narrowest point.
