Styling tips
Place the sofa against your longest wall so its tufted back and scroll arms take centre stage. Dark grey velvet pairs beautifully with brass or gold accents, a cream or ivory rug and cushions in emerald, sapphire or blush for a jewel-toned scheme.
In a majlis setting, face it towards a low coffee table and add floor cushions or accent chairs for extra guests. For a softer, contemporary look, keep walls light and add a sculptural floor lamp beside one arm. Measure your room and doorways before ordering, as five-seat sofas need generous space.
