Styling tips
Set the three-seater against the main wall and angle the two-seater and armchair around a coffee table to create a U-shaped conversation area. Blue velvet pairs beautifully with warm neutrals, so try cream or sand walls, a beige rug and brass or gold accents. For a fresher look, add white cushions and light oak side tables. In a formal sitting room, layer patterned cushions in gold and ivory for an Arabic-inspired feel. Keep lighting soft, as velvet looks its richest under warm light.
