The Lotta bowl (G990-02-301) pairs clear, mouth-blown glass with a raised base of natural ash. It suits anyone who wants a serving bowl that looks just as good empty on the table as it does filled with fruit. The shape is low and calm, so it works in a Dubai apartment dining nook or on a long villa console alike.
Key features
Mouth-blown glass made by skilled glassblowers.
Melted rim for a soft, rounded finish.
Raised ash base shaped from FSC-certified, sustainably sourced wood.
Nesting design: a step in the bowl sits neatly inside the wooden base.
Streamlined silhouette: glass and wood share the same height and width, with clean cylindrical shapes.
Specifications
Model code: G990-02-301
Diameter: 31cm
Height: 9cm
Materials: mouth-blown glass, ash wood
Colour: Clear glass, Cream
Styling tips
Place it at the centre of a dining table with seasonal fruit, dates or citrus for an easy, everyday display. The pale ash works well with oak, light walnut and rattan, and softens marble or stone worktops. On a sideboard, leave it empty or add a few smooth pebbles so the glass can catch the light. For a layered look, group it with ceramic vases in cream, sand or soft grey. Keep the surrounding pieces simple; the bowl's quiet lines are the point.
Care
As the base is natural wood, keep it away from standing water and wipe it dry. Lift the glass out of the base to clean it separately.
