The Legio Nova lunch plate is a 22 cm white porcelain plate built for daily use and smart enough for dinner parties. Refined grooves frame the centre of the plate, and the glossy glaze makes simple food look considered. It suits households that want one dependable set for weekday lunches, starters and festive tables alike.
The design builds on the minimalist Legio tableware created with designer Ole Palsby in the late 1990s. Legio Nova was developed with the National Culinary Team of Denmark, so the grooved rim is there to help present food well.

Styling tips
Use the 22 cm plate as a side or starter plate stacked on a larger Legio Nova dinner plate for a layered, restaurant-style setting. White porcelain works with any table, so pair it with natural linen napkins and oak or walnut for a warm Scandinavian look, or with brass cutlery and deep green glassware for an elegant iftar or Eid table. For contrast, mix the grooved Legio Nova pieces with smooth Legio plates in the same setting.
For family gatherings, the series also includes bowls, serving dishes and jugs, so you can build a coordinated table piece by piece.
