Styling tips
Line up two or three stools along a kitchen island for casual breakfasts and quick coffees. Black steel looks sharp against white quartz, light oak or concrete-effect worktops, and it suits matt black taps and pendant lights for a joined-up industrial scheme.
Before you order, measure from the floor to the underside of your counter. A gap of roughly 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the counter gives comfortable leg room. Allow about 60 cm per stool so guests are not elbow to elbow.
In a small apartment, push the stools fully under the counter when not in use to keep walkways clear. For a softer look, add a round seat cushion in a warm neutral or a muted terracotta.
