Styling tips
Black velvet loves contrast. Layer crisp white or ivory bedding, then add a charcoal or mustard throw for warmth. Brass or gold bedside lamps pick up the sheen of the velvet beautifully.
For a softer look, pair the bed with warm wood bedside tables and a light wool or jute rug. Leave at least 60 cm of walkway on each side so the room feels open, and centre the bed on the main wall to show off the pleated detail.
