The Eva Solo Draining Lid 16cm makes draining pasta and potatoes simple. It is made from stainless steel and has a sieve built into the lid, protected by a silicone cover. When you tip the saucepan, the cover comes away from the lid on its own and the cooking water drains out through the sieve. It suits small households, compact apartment kitchens and anyone who would rather not wash a colander after every meal.
Key features
Built-in sieve: drain water straight from the pan, with no separate colander needed.
Automatic silicone cover: it moves away from the lid as you tip the pan, then covers the sieve again while you cook.
Stainless steel construction: a durable, easy-care material for everyday cooking.
16cm size: made for smaller saucepans and single or two-person portions.
Ideal for pasta and potatoes: handy for vegetables, rice and other boiled foods too.

Styling tips
Check that your saucepan has a 16cm diameter before you order, so the lid sits snugly. The brushed stainless steel finish works well with modern and Scandinavian kitchens. It pairs easily with other steel cookware and with matt black or wooden utensils. In a small Dubai or Sharjah apartment kitchen, a draining lid frees up cupboard space a colander would otherwise take. Hang it on a rail or stand it in a lid organiser so it is always within reach.
