The Dusk vase is a mouth-blown glass vase with a finely fluted texture and a gentle, tapering teardrop shape. Skilled craftspeople hand paint each piece with pink and grey lustre. The sheer colours diffuse towards the centre, so the glass glows softly as the light changes through the day. Styling tips
Place the vase where it catches daylight, such as a windowsill or a side table near a balcony door. The lustre looks its best when light passes through it. At 28cm tall, it works well on a console, sideboard or bedside table without crowding the surface.
Pair the pink and grey tones with warm neutrals, soft greys, brushed brass or pale oak. A few stems of eucalyptus, pampas grass or a single blush rose keep the look calm. For a shelf display, group it with one or two plain ceramic pieces of different heights so the fluted glass stands out.

Materials & making
The tapering Dusk vase is mouth blown by skilled glassblowers. The fine optic effect is achieved by making impressions in the glass while it is still molten. The glass is decorated by hand using metallic lustre paints which diffuse towards the centre. It is then fired at high temperatures to create a dual colour lustrous finish.
