Styling tips
Cream linen is a gentle base for almost any palette. Layer white or oatmeal bedding with a textured throw in sage, terracotta or soft grey for warmth. Brass or warm-wood bedside tables echo the curve of the headboard nicely, while a pair of pendant lights keeps surfaces clear in smaller rooms.
Centre the bed on the main wall and leave at least 60 cm of walking space on each side. In a larger villa bedroom, add an upholstered bench at the foot of the bed to complete the look.
