Styling tips
Oak looks lovely with white or cream ceramics, so try it with simple stoneware plates for a calm, Scandinavian feel. For a more classic table, pair it with a linen runner, glass jam jars and brass or stainless steel cutlery.
Place it in the middle of the table with butter, jams and honey either side, so everyone can help themselves. On a kitchen island, run it alongside a wooden board of cheeses or fruit for an easy brunch spread. When it is not in use, it can double as a holder for letters or napkins on a sideboard.
