Styling tips
A low bed makes a room feel taller and more open, which helps in compact apartment bedrooms. Keep the look restful with natural linen bedding in sand, stone or soft white. Add a jute or wool rug that extends well beyond the sides of the bed to frame it. Place a slim lamp on each side table for balanced evening light, and keep wall decor minimal to stay true to the Japanese feel. A trailing plant or a bonsai-style accent finishes the scheme.
