The Cerna cream wood bookcase is a slim standing shelf for people who love books but are short on floor space. At 55 cm wide and 30 cm deep, it fits beside a desk, in a hallway nook or next to a bed. Its geometric design of overlapping squares gives it a sculptural look, so it works as a feature piece as well as storage. It suits apartment living in Dubai and Sharjah, where every centimetre counts.

Styling tips
Cream is an easy neutral. Pair it with white or sand-coloured walls for a light, airy home office, or set it against a deep green or navy wall so the shape stands out. Mix books with a few objects in each cubby rather than filling every square; a trailing plant, a small vase and a stack of horizontal books keep it balanced. In a living room, place it at the end of a sofa as a slim side feature. In a bedroom, it can replace a bedside table if space is tight. Keep heavier books on the lower tiers for a grounded look.
