Styling tips
Place the sink a short step from your grill so prep and cleanup flow naturally. Keep a clear stretch of worktop either side for chopping boards and resting trays. Stainless steel pairs well with stone, concrete or tiled counters in grey, sand and charcoal tones. For a warmer feel, add teak or acacia accents, such as serving boards or bar stools. Plan plumbing and drainage before your island is built, and check the cut-out with your installer so the basin sits flush. In the summer heat, a shade sail or pergola over the prep zone makes the space far more comfortable to use.
