Styling tips
Give the headboard room to breathe. Centre the bed on your longest wall and keep the space above it clear, or hang a single wide mirror or artwork. Brown fabric pairs well with cream, ivory and soft sand bedding, plus brass or warm-toned bedside lamps. Add a pair of matching nightstands on either side to balance the tall, winged shape. For a richer look, layer textured cushions in rust or olive and finish with a large rug that extends beyond the sides of the bed.
